RAW Cones Classic
RAW Classic
Made from RAW’s standard unbleached plant fiber paper. Easy to handle, with an even burn and a relatively neutral paper taste.
They come in packs of 50, 100, 150, 800, and 1,400, but I think starting with a pack of 50 would be just right.
RAW Cones Organic
RAW Organic
Made from organic hemp paper. Lighter in color, with a slightly slower burn and a subtle hemp paper character.

Classic or Organic
The main difference between RAW Classic Cones and RAW Organic Hemp Cones is the paper.
RAW Classic Cones are made from RAW’s standard unbleached plant fiber paper. They are easy to handle, burn evenly, and have a relatively neutral paper taste.
RAW Organic Hemp Cones are made from organic hemp paper. The paper is slightly lighter in color and is designed to burn more slowly. It may also have a subtle hemp paper character.
Organic Hemp is not necessarily a higher grade than Classic. It is simply a different type of paper.
For a first purchase, I would recommend RAW Classic because it is the standard option and makes it easier to compare the flavor of the filling itself. Organic Hemp is a good choice if you prefer hemp paper or a slightly slower burn.
Filter / Screen
RAW Classic paper is easier to punch cleanly. RAW Organic Hemp is a little more difficult to work with, so it is better to practice with Classic until you get used to it.
For the mat underneath, a fibrous paper-based material is ideal because it grips the paper firmly. It may be difficult to find, but a thickness of at least 3 mm is recommended. Smooth surfaces such as ordinary cutting mats are not suitable.
7mm Hole Punch
Please note that the quality may vary from one punch to another, and some can be more difficult to use than others. Cutting out a clean hole is not easy in the first place, so watch my videos carefully. The key is to press the punch down firmly while twisting it from side to side. This twisting motion can be difficult at first, so keep practicing until you get the hang of it.
When the punch arrives
It will probably have a lot of machine oil on it, so wash it thoroughly before using it. If you are concerned about rust, you could apply a light coat of vegetable oil after cleaning and drying it. Personally, I have not applied any oil so far, and mine has continued to cut well without losing its sharpness.
Clover Flower Head Pins
It doesn’t have to be this particular needle, though.
Clover was founded on October 1, 1925. Its founder, Toshio Okada, left Kamei Shoten after working there for 14 years and opened Okada Keishichi Shoten in Minami Ward, Osaka. The business began as a wholesaler of sewing needles, buttons, and other sewing supplies.
Cone Loader
It’s not essential, but it’s useful when packing dry leaves.
Tray
This is a Trangia mess tin from Sweden. It can be used as a tray, an ashtray, or a storage box, and you can even boil water in it. You can eat spaghetti from it, cook ramen, or even make rice. This thing is an absolute beast.
This is the model without a handle.

Don’t worry, the handle can be removed from the mess tin.
BIC Mini Lighters
There’s no reason not to have one.
You could even keep one tucked away somewhere as a backup.
IM Corona Old Boy
Please note that the wood is different from the one I have.
