3Stack Mat™

The material comes from a paper company founded in 1936 and is cut to size for us by a company founded in 1918.

You do not need to buy this mat.

You could prepare your own cardboard, cut it to the right size, and make something that serves the same purpose.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

But once you use this one, you will truly understand what makes it so good.

The first time I used it, I could not help but smile.

Three thick layers of paperboard are stacked together to form a single mat.

And when the leaves scatter, the mat itself becomes a small broom, helping you gather them back together.

This product is a 90 × 90 mm square.

If you prefer something smaller, you could cut it down to around 60 × 60 mm. But 30 × 30 mm is simply too small to use comfortably.

There is just one thing you should know.

This material is extremely tough, and cutting it with an ordinary utility knife is much harder than it looks.

I put too much force into it and ended up cutting my hand.

I strongly recommend using a rotary cutter.

I quite like the 60 mm size as well.

But after using both, I eventually found myself returning to 90 mm.

Sometimes, the right size cannot be decided by numbers alone.

It is something you discover only by using it.
